Christmas is meant to be a time of joyful memory-making and deep connection - a time to strengthen ties with our loved ones, come together over beautiful shared meals, and to enjoy all the season has to offer.
But often, instead of looking forward to "the most magical time of the year", a small pit of dread forms in our stomach as we start to run through the plans and "to-do" list...
We start to feel...
OVERWHELMED about all the plans ahead: hosting and attending get-togethers, working out WHAT to prepare, HOW to prepare it....
....STRESSED about all the different conversations we will have to try to navigate with distant relatives, colleagues, friends-of-friends, in-laws....without feeling AWKWARD or saying the wrong thing...
....WORRIED and UNSURE about what gifts to get for the different people in our lives....
.....UNEASY at the thought of family tensions (most of us have some!) flaring under the pressure the season can put on everybody....
....UNINSPIRED with our look and outfits - we want to feel CONFIDENT and ELEGANT at the different get-togethers and parties, but don't always know what to wear...
And instead of CHERISHING the time of the year, you find yourself looking forward to it being ALL OVER!
